shows... One of the sportive activities that shown in the weddings
and fests was the wrestling, the ancestor sport of Turks. In
the middle asia in one of the Turkish tribes in autumn season
there were big fests in which only wrestlings were done. |

Murat
I. when conquered Edirne and appointed it as the capitol, he
constructed a wrestler's lodge. In the following years similar
lodges were constructed in Istanbul. These wrestlers lived
in those lodges, trained and performed when needed. |
