| Phoenix In the festival of 1836, tüycü
esnaf had flied the bird shaped kites. In the festival of 1582,
in one of the miniatures of Osman Nakkaş there is a picture
of phoenix, the mithological bird. |

peyda idüp dûr u diraz sevda-yı tamab ile rûzigâra virüp
daire-I şehri devre ve ol murg-iacayip kerdarı semâvat
ehline seyr ittürüp gahi felekten ana uçurdu. Ve gâhi
rûzigâra istinad idüp usrubiyle dayanmağla tınaba ve
kulbı elinde kalup hata ile kaçırdı." |
