of the most important games which has been watched with
a deep concern was the bloody plays of deli's who showed
their strength against pain. |

It was known that delis were connected to religous beliefs. It was
also said that there was a military class in Rumeli composed of
delis and volunteers. |

Because of this, they called themselves "delil" which
means volunteer while people call them "deli" or insane
because they attempt to most dangerous events without thinking twice.
In Surname-i Humayun which was telling about the 1582 festival, was
a source of them.
